Based in Quito, Mexico City and New York, Terminal publishes books, zines and editions in collaboration with South American and Caribbean artists and curators. It's a platform exploring art within the diaspora, alternative visions of contemporary culture, resistance discourses, archives, manifestos and latinx politics, food, sound and memory. 

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Terminal started the DistANSIAS project, an ever-growing series of free and downloadable "documents" by Latin American artists, activists and curators living in the continent as well as in the diaspora.

Our books are in the collection of institutions like the New York City Public Library, the Centro for Puerto Rican Studies at Hunter College, Printed Matter and the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art (MACBA). Terminal founders / editors are Gabriela Valarezo and Jaime Nuñez del Arco.
