Stamped Indelibly (no. 96 of 225) is a portfolio of rubber stamp prints by a selection of artists, including Robert Creeley, Allen Ginsberg, Red Grooms & Kenneth Koch, Robert Indiana, Allen Jones, Josef Levi, Gerard Malanga, Marisol, Claes Oldenberg, Peter Saul, Andy Warhol, Tom Wesselmann, and John Willenbecher. Each print is signed in pencil by the individual artist–save for the Grooms/Koch; the Warhol is signed with a stamp, as was his signature at the time–and is printed on paper (which is laid on vellum for consistency). Printed by William Katz in 1967, the collection brings together some of the most famous artists of the time, offering a playful glimpse into their distinct approaches to art-making.
