A photographic zine that includes both greyscaled and colored photographs of Mimi Smith’s sculptural clothing works.

“At the start of the year I produced an artwork consisting of four hanging sculptural parts. Each part was a strand made of soldered wire shapes, covered with stretched fabric and connected by silver jewelry chain and buttons. The smallest strand was six feet long, the largest eleven. I imagined this piece as Earrings for the City and photographed the hanging strands on the rood of my East Village apartment. Later in the year I made Dresses; I regarded this work as sculpture and considered my body as the armature for a worn environment. These early pieces were a pivotal transition in my work. I continue to use these forms and thoughts to create clothing sculptures to this day” - Mimi Smith
