Three pieces of ephemera/mail art
1) Offset of a SILHOUTTE DRAWING (w. beard), added text in handwriting “Eroticism + art Magazine arrived. thank you. very ARCHIMBOLDO”. (1979) Folded for mailing.Two original rubberstampings of snakes.
2) Xeroxed sheet of a photo collage “Shelley Duval Fan Club” with the faces of Ray Johnson, May Wilson and Shelly Duval mounted in. Original rubberstamping: “MORE URSULINE DUCKS” and two date stamps (Mar. 1, 1976 / Sep. 7, 1978). Folded several times for mailing. Paper cut to V-shape.
3) Envelope (postmarked). Three bunny head stampings and collage of a text strip “BLUME RUBBER BAND” with original. rubberstamping “COLLAGE BY RAY JOHNSON”: underneath is a blue rubberband mounted on the paper w. scotch tape. / The Envelope has Brooks Jackson Gallery printed on the verso.
