Started in 2009 by Mark Price of Philadelphia’s Space 1026, “Zine of the Month” releases limited edition and hand made artist zines focusing (for the most part) on local artists. Each month, Mark Price Is a Factory collaborates with a different artist to produce a new limited edition zine using screenprinting and photocopy techniques.

Live manipulation of cassettes and the components used to play them forms the core of Sebastian Petsu’s sound art process. He started layering found and repurposed tapes with the Rain of Belle Isle duo. In collaborations he now utilizes an unfair amount of controlled, textured tape deck feedback. Mark Price solos as the enigmatic and genuinely unpredictable Cars Will Burn. Described as a methodical dissection of Top 40 hip-hop club bangers that are at once scummy and decadent. Ultimately saying “yes, but…” to the world in the finest sampler abuse tradition.
