The self-described “23 year old graduate student in the life sciences” mentions chess, indie alt-folk, the Nobel Prize in Medicine, Futurama and KatamariDamacy, evoking responses ranging from hardcore nerdgasming to misspelled come-ons and shirtless pics.

“In 2005, I was in need of dates. So I posted an ad on the F4M page of Craigslist. This book includes my original ad as well as every response I received from the men of CL.
"Hello, I’m looking for the same things you are. But I’m married – do you care?”
But it’s not all bad. I actually went on dates with two of these of these fine gentlemen. Can you guess which two? Hint: they were perfectly nice both in person and on paper.“
