Please consider making a tax-deductible in-kind donation of historical or rare artists publications!

Printed Matter graciously accepts limited quantities of donated books that have some special interest or value, especially out-of-print works or those considered important to the field. We’re particularly interested in rare copies of artists’ books – and in some instances catalogs, printed ephemera and other published forms – from the 1960s through 1980s. If you would like to make a contribution of artists’ publications from your personal or institutional collection, please email Director Max Schumann. We are fairly selective in what we are interested in taking on and unfortunately are unable to accept all donations.

Contributions of publications to Printed Matter may be claimed as donations-in-kind to a non-profit, charitable organization, and are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Revenue from resulting sales support our mission, general operations and many programs and services for artists and the public at large.
