Cerco Flutuante is a brazilian photobook and an artwork made of a combination of photography and drawings with mix techniques. Traces, stripes, inscriptions, net lines, maps, trails, sand, water, drawings, writings, genealogies, and roots that connect to the perception of microscopic universes such as the palms of hands, the curve of a hug, fingerprints, and genealogy drawings. The Brazilian author, Helena Giestas, is a therapist and an artist who created line-images that are also invisible forces expressed as bonds, affections and memories.
The set of images that make up this photobook outline other possibilities of times over time in intervals that promote memory connections and disconnections, lives and encounters building part of the author’s own photobiography. -Publisher
