Where’s the Afters? offers a glimpse into a large series of protest photographs taken by Nik Erik Neubauer between May 2020 and April 2022. During this time, the modern world has entered a previously unknown state of insecurity, fear and widespread confusion, sparked by the emergence of the pandemic covida-19. With growing unease, conflicting information and some questionable political actions, community discontent has risen sharply and sparked a wave of protests across the country. These spread quite spontaneously at first, but eventually grew into a civil initiative, which drew attention to pressing social issues and controversial political practices on a weekly basis (mostly on Fridays). In parallel, several protests were organized by other social groups raising different issues and criticizing the social situation (e.g. the so-called anti-PCT protests). -Publisher
