I’m a Drawing is a series of drawings by Zaiah Drawing (age 7). The 32 self portraits inside depict Zaiah as various objects, including a book, the c train, a donut, a blood stain, seven stripes and more. Each cover features a unique drawing.

The book’s format–four accordions, stapled together at the spine and bound with a unique piece of fabric–allows the reader to turn the pages in numerous variations. A smaller booklet extends from the larger book via a piece of ric rac fabric, and contains a table of contents / poem listing all of the self-portraits in side.

The book’s companion volume, You’re a Drawing Sketchbook, is also available at Printed Matter. Both books were launched at the 2024 NY Art Book Fair Block Party.
