This book introduces a new facet of the multidisciplinary Spanish artist, Alehsy Lambo, photography. In his stay in New York during winter he found himself with something he hadn’t seen before, a mix of destroyed cars with beautiful ones all sharing the same streets. They were just laying there, unnoticed by the New Yorkers that were passing by daily. Alehsy, on the other hand, was immediately attracted to this.
After a long time being mostly inspired by popular car culture scenes from his childhood and the internet, he found this new way of approaching his paintings by photographing and creating an archive of close-ups from cars, a collection of details, colors, and possible ways of fixing your car. -Publisher
