Dashwood zine by Glen Luchford. Prior to creating his iconic campaigns for Prada, Luchford photographed one of the first iterations of the Lollapalooza Music festival, the annual music festival founded by Jane’s Addiction singer, Perry Farrell. In its original incarnation until 1997, Lollapalooza was traveling festival touring a few dozen venues through North America. A departure from his cinematic style, Luchford photographed the crowds, attendants, and the bands Tool, Alice In Chains, and Fishbone.
British photographer and film maker Glen Luchford is one of his generation’s most imaginative talents. He emerged as one of the world’s most influential fashion photographers in the late 1990s and continues to shoot campaigns for Yves Saint Laurent, Givenchy, Chloé, Lanvin, Calvin Klein, and Gucci. -Publisher
