This set of nine books were all published by Depew from 1970 to 1973. Poetry Newsletter, which was founded by Wally Depew in 1964, began as a mailed newsletter that released 12 issues from 1964 to 1966. After ending the mailer, Depew and his wife Linda Bandt moved to California and began publishing books by himself and other authors experimenting at the intersection of art and poetry. The name of the publisher, Poetry Newsletter, also appears abbreviated as PN Books.
The authors included in this set represent a diverse range of well-known, international book artists. The set includes Editorial by Jean-François Bory, The Magritte Poems by Hannah Weiner, Three Short Pieces by David Engel, Go Book 28 and Go Book 32 by Jean-Pierre Armeaux, Example by Michael Shea, 1 2 Kitazonos by Sam Grolmes, Station Identifications by D.R.
