Issue 2 of Guestroom opens with the command “Manage Your Risk.” It begins with a “plea for concerned individuals to rise up against the robotic scum who control the field of cultural production,” by Dwight Dolman, creator of Human Systems Workshop, a radical group dedicated to the manipulation of interpersonal relations. What follows is a collection of imagery and texts of all kinds: a play, a personal narrative, completed “risk assessment forms,” and a written account of a project on immigration, to name a few.
