Window Installation with Pixy Liao

February 10 - March 3, 2019

“Two hands controlling one mouse. I’m on top of you, you are on top of it.”

We are pleased to present a commissioned window installation Golden Mouse by artist Pixy Liao. In Pixy’s work, provoking and absurd subject matter is broached, delicately and skillfully, with seductive colors and compositions. Simultaneously naughty and innocent, her work invites you to reexamine the hierarchy between male and female, private and public, the mundane and the monumental. For Printed Matter’s Window Series, Pixy will showcase her most recent experiment with large-format Risograph printing, produced during her residency at SVA RisoLAB.

A riso-printed poster of the same image is also available: Golden Mouse, Pixy Liao (2019), 11"x17", Edition of 20.
