Soft City Printing is excited to present Lazyitis by New York City-based video artist Theodore Darst. Lazyitis features a remix of images from Darst’s recent exhibition at Lubov gallery, Last Days in a Lovely Place. This is Darst’s second collaboration with Soft City Printing, a follow up to 2017’s Cult Trash.
This event takes place at Printed Matter / St Marks at 38 St Marks Pl.
Run by artists Jeremy Jams and Dominic Fortunato, Soft City Printing publishes books with artists using their GR3770 risograph in Brooklyn. Soft City Printing has participated in Printed Matter’s New York Art Book Fair, The Chicago Art Book Fair, The San Francisco Art Book Fair, and The Odds and Ends Art Book Fair at Yale University Art Gallery.
During the December 13 book launch, Darst will present a new pre-recorded live collaboration with sound designer Kevin Carey.
