FLAT – Torino Art Book Fair
Printed Matter will be exhibiting this weekend at the Torino Art Book Fair, a new art book event taking place at the Palazzo Cisterna (Turin, Italy), November 3 - 5, 2017.
Printed Matter’s Executive Director Max Schumann will participate in a free public program TALK Artists, Books and Book Fairs with David Senior, Head of Library and Archives at San Francisco Museum of Modern Art - SFMOMA, 2:30 - 4 PM, Saturday, November 4th.
At the Fair, we’ll be presenting a selection of contemporary and vintage artists’ books, grouped loosely by theme into the following categories: rare and out of print, historical reprints, “after Ruscha”, as well as a selection of Printed Matter publications.
Select highlights include, LA AIR by Bruce Nauman, Walls Paper by Gordon Matta-Clark, I Can’t : A Performance by Ida ApplebroogFour Basic Kinds of Straight Lines by Sol LeWitt, as well as a lithograph-printed shopping bag by Barbara Kruger.
