Room&Book Art Book Fair

May 22 - 24, 2015

We’re headed to Room&Book for their second fair in the Nash & Brandon Rooms at the ICA, London, presented in association with Claire de Rouen books. The fair brings together 20 book dealers from the UK, USA, Europe and beyond, with a focus on important out-of-print and new publications on art, photography, fashion, counterculture.

At this year’s Room&Book we are pleased to present an exciting selection of newly acquired material by artist Ray Johnson. The selection of works include photocopied mail art pages modified with ink and rubber stamps, original handwritten notes and hand-drawn bunnyheads. There are several pieces of Johnson’s ongoing fan-club ephemera generated for actress Shelley Duvall and artist Max Ernst, and well as event invites (an Artist Reading at Franklin Furnace, admission $1.00), artist amps, and modified raffle tickets.

As part of fair programming artist and former PM Director AA Bronson and collector/PM Board Chair Philip Aarons hold a discussion on Queer Zines, currently on view in London as part of AA Bronson: HEXENMEISTER at Maureen Paley.
