As part of his experimental and poly-disciplinary artistic practice, Paris-based Victor Boullet publishes a twice-annual fanzine called The Institute of Social Hypocrisy. Artists are invited to collaborate and contribute in the ongoing work of this false organization’s mission to investigate social behavior and alienation.
This fourth volume contains the enigmatic work of artist Dag Erik Elgin. The issue contains only smudged fingerprints as if left behind while flipping through the pages. The front overleaf is labeled with objects, artworks or events that might serially correspond to the sequence of prints. Bon a Fide of identity, of haptic interaction and of the unknown.
